🌻 Welcome to Class 1 🌻

Class 1 is made up of Nursery and Reception children who benefit from our exciting, engaging and progressive activities.

We operate a ‘free flow’ set up whereby children are able to enjoy learning inside or outside all day, whatever the weather! ☀️⛅️☔️❄️

We are very lucky to have some lovely all-in-ones for children to use to ensure they can experience outdoor learning to the fullest.

At Saints Primary we have regular Forest School sessions led by myself (Forest School Level 3 Practitioner). We open these to the public as well so please look out for more information if you have any friends who you think would enjoy a session or two! 🌱🌰🌳

Keep an eye out on our page for updates and important information – as well as celebrations 😺🎉 of all the amazing work that Class 1 does!

🌟 Reading Books

Reading books are changed on a Monday and a Friday provided that there has been a note left in their reading record and books have been returned.

📚 Monday – you will receive a book that is appropriate to your child’s phonics level.
📚 Friday – you will receive a reading for pleasure book as well as an ebook of the book read throughout the week at reading practice sessions.

In their reading records there is the opportunity to get stickers and then a certificate to match for books completed and how many times read.

Children are read to 1:1 at least three times a week so we ask that you try to read also at least three times a week at home. 📚📚📚

🌟 Home Learning

Home learning will be sent home on a Friday to be completed by the following Thursday. 📅
