We are fortunate to have such a wonderful kitchen team (Mrs Todd!) who provide beautiful dinners on behalf of our catering provider Caterlink.

Our sample menu is available on the link below, so you may discuss possible menu choices with your children. Small changes to the sample menus may occur from time to time.

We have a 3 week menu and children have their lunches in the school hall.

Lunches are free for Reception, Year and Year 2 children and there is a charge of £2.70 per day for children in Y3-6 or 30 hour Nursery children.

Our school meals follow a healthy-eating policy. Our meals are produced freshly every day in a school kitchen from only:

  • fresh meat and poultry sourced from the region;
  • fruit and vegetables sourced regionally where possible using local suppliers;
  • products free from additives associated with health problems in young children;
  • fats free from hydrogenated oils; with
  • menus that are nutritionally balanced

Free School Meals

From the 1st June 2026 your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

  • Universal Credit
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

A pupil is only eligible to receive a free school meal where both:

  • a claim for this support has been made
  • their eligibility has been verified by the school where they are enrolled or by the local authority

Infant free school meals in England

Your child will be able to get free school meals if they’re in a government-funded school and in:

  • Reception class
  • Year 1
  • Year 2

Tell your local authority if you also get any of the qualifying benefits. Your child’s school can get extra funding if you do.

Allergies and Intolerances

Our school meal provider Caterlink requires all parents to complete their Allergy and Intolerance form if their children are diagnosed with a Food Allergy or Intolerance. A copy of this is available on our website. Please ensure that the form linked within the document is completed and you make contact with the school office to update your child’s dietary and medical records.
