Mission Statement at All Saints RC Primary School

‘Come and See’       John 1:39

We aim to:

  • Encourage our children to imitate Christ in all aspects of their lives;
  • Help our children to acquire religious and moral values so that they may begin to live their lives as Christians in the context of their own Catholic faith;
  • Help our children to be sensitive to other people’s faiths, cultures and ways of life, and foster tolerance and understanding so that they can live peacefully together in a caring, multi-ethnic society;
  • Provide a happy, caring, friendly atmosphere in which all members of the school community can grow together and where both children and adults feel they belong;
  • Develop a friendly, co-operative and mutual respect and understanding between parents and school, working together as partners in the educational process;
  • Recognise the individuality of all children by providing equality of opportunity, regardless of gender, colour, nationality, disability or special need;
  • Foster a respect for people’s feelings, possessions and points of view;
  • Promote initiative and self-confidence, fostering habits of responsibility and self-discipline so that each person feels valued and values others in turn;
  • Help all our children achieve the highest standards of which they are capable;
  • Help our children to develop lively, enquiring and creative minds and the ability to apply themselves to a variety of tasks so that they may acquire appropriate knowledge and skills which enable them to make a valuable contribution to the rapidly changing world in which they live;
  • Encourage real effort and the pursuit of excellence in everything they do;
  • Increase our children’s awareness of the beauty of God’s creation and of their duty to play their part in caring for it.
