This morning Class 1 ate their snack a little differently! With the addition to cucumbers to our snack bowl and some children questioning what it was and what it tastes like we decided to create some platters so they could have a little bit of everything! 🥒 🍌 🫑 🍅
We wondered whether it was a fruit or a vegetable but noticed how they all contained seeds and that means they must be a fruit, even though it didn’t taste too sweet!
Everyone enjoyed the cucumber and it was a firm favourite for all. This encouraged them to try other things they hadn’t had before and noticed they equally enjoyed tomatoes and peppers!
Sharing snack like this also enabled us to take turns and think about other people ensuring there was enough snack for everyone. 🤗❤️
